@deprecated_ii @skylar okay I'll take the bait it's because scissors are not made for food and thus cleaning them is hard and probably very unsanitary

@RustyCrab @skylar @deprecated_ii that's why you get scissors that are actually made for it. They have a part right at the joint where you can twist it and they come apart. So you can wash both sides individually. My mom used them for cooking a lot.
Trying to cut a pizza with a pizza cutter is a ballache sometimes, I don't doubt scissors would be far easier.
