I love how developers don't document shit anymore, and instead make you use discord, but when you do, they act like you're an idiot and burdening them. What happened to man pages?

@Ghislaine @nicholas @caekislove it can be nice for more niche things though, because you can pretty much guarantee there will be a discord for it and someone in there who can answer your oddly specific question, and much faster too.

@Zergling_man @nicholas @caekislove @beardalaxy I feel like the only forum I’ve seen that’s even tried to modernize and be nice feeling to use is kiwifarms but I’m sure people can do better. kind of crazy that this isn’t a bigger focus.

@Ghislaine @nicholas @caekislove @beardalaxy I don't even want forums to "modernise", that means javascript and normies, both abhorrent.
Supposedly most of them support tapatalk API so you can write dedicated forum clients, but I've never got around to reading its docs.
