I think Mario Kart World's Rainbow Road is my favorite iteration of the track. It's really fun to race on and it looks absolutely amazing too. It doesn't have quite the same SOVL that 64 RR does, but it definitely exudes creativity and has a lot of series callbacks integrated in a very seamless way.

All of these are flying sections but they give you the coolest shots, there is plenty of driving too.

@teto i'm pretty excited for this one too. probably won't buy it at launch, i'll wait for a sale, but i'm looking forward to playing it.

You don’t mean to tell me you bought the Switch 2
Have all the fun you want with it, I just don’t know how people are buying them after all the shit that’s come out about them

@freeusspeechus there are things to criticize, but there is a lot of misinfo too.

@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club the most important one, and the deal breaker for me, is the fact that Nintendo says you don’t own the console and they reserve the right to brick it. I couldn’t care less about the digital key bullshit, as stupid as it is. Same with the prices for the games.

@freeusspeechus the thing is that Nintendo has always been able to do that and they do if you get caught pirating their games, it's just that now they have extended it to the online agreement so that's stuff like if you're cheating on online games or breaking TOS or hacking with gamechat.

Just like it's always been, if you're able to hack the console, you just keep it offline if you're doing anything crazy.

But yes, it does still suck. It just doesn't affect me at all because I don't plan on doing any of that stuff with it. If I am able to modchip it later and do it safely then I 100% will but I'm not going to be doing stupid shit that will get me banned otherwise.
