Sitting Senator not able to answer basic questions even the most disinterested journo would ask, really inspires confidence

I don't actually watch journos, do they usually ask these wikipedia stats?
I think it's reasonable to be expected to know some basic information about a country that you want to spend billions of taxpayer dollars toppling.

"Oh, you don't like this nigger? How much does he weigh?"

(I don't support US involvement at all, just arguing relevance.)

@dsm @DrRyanSkelton @PraxisOfEvil @deprecated_ii @Hoss needing to know someone's weight in order to hate them is nowhere near the same thing as needing to know how many people live in a place that you want to bomb and replace its leadership lol.

A better analogy would be somebody telling you "Hey, go fight this nigger or I'll send you to jail." and then treating questions like "How big is he?" as frivolous and unreasonable.
@Hoss @beardalaxy @DrRyanSkelton @PraxisOfEvil @deprecated_ii

Size of relevant fighting force and capabilities would be the analog to size.
I'd bet you a grand Ted Cruz couldn't have answered those questions either.
@Hoss @beardalaxy @DrRyanSkelton @PraxisOfEvil @deprecated_ii

Probably not. It's ok to just enjoy an uncomfortable senator even if the questions aren't meaningful.
I disagree that the questions aren't meaningful. Senators crying for war should at least be able to write a high school level essay about the country they want to go to war with. This is not an unreasonably high standard to hold our elected officials to, especially one who has called for regime change in Iran for the entirety of his political career.

@PraxisOfEvil @dsm @DrRyanSkelton @deprecated_ii @Hoss also probably not suggesting we should go to war with ukraine if i had to guess lmao
