@coolboymew one of the craziest techniques for speedrunning, right next to the goldeneye one where you have to take apart your controller and press down on the motherboard to get the timer on the train level to stop. Or something like that. It's banned obviously but still hilarious.

@coolboymew @beardalaxy there is also one for mario kart for the snes that involves filing down the center pin of the dpad so that u can press leff and right at the same time, fun enough that one is actually allowed because due to a flaw all snes original controllers will grind down the center pin of the dpad relatively fast, so if you get original hardware the dpad pin is likely worn down, on a new old stock snes pad the pin will wear down in a matter of months from regular gaming...

I know for ALTTP you can do some weird trick and get in the walls. For Kirby Superstar, you may make the game freaks out in ladders
