Extremely good casting. I have no idea who these actors are. It won't be like hearing Mario thinking "oh that's Chris Pratt." The actors will BE Zelda and Link.
Now we just hope that the movie itself is good, which I'm still not holding my breath for. With Tears of the Kingdom, I am unsure that Nintendo knows why people like Zelda specifically, versus why they might like an open world sandbox game with a neat mechanic. I hope the movie has the quintessential Zelda vibes to it without devolving into nostalgia baiting.
@ZRDR_DelRio i don't think that if it's bad it will be a "so good it's bad" movie. i think it will be a movie that had a chance but was deeply flawed because of some weird nintendo mandate that the movie had to be "fun" or some shit like that.
Zelda games are at their best when they are violent and frustrating, I hope they transition that into the movie, well

On the "bad" side, the Mario movie could have been so much better
@coolboymew @ZRDR_DelRio nintendo's "tard wrangling" sometimes results in a worse product though. i'd argue it does frequently, even in really good games. that's what i'm worried about.
