@Sui @grey this won't fuck over creators at all given that you can use a selfie or a credit card number. if you're a content creator then google already has one or the other or both. it restricts people from watching age restricted videos if their account is flagged, but you already don't make nearly as much money from age restricted videos as a creator regardless. people will heavily battle youtube on that when a video gets falsely age restricted because it already severely limits reach and monetization.

That's going to get a lot worse. The range of acceptable content will continue to shrink, within the first 24 hours of "we need to kill anonymity to save the kids or we'll pedojacket you" ~90-95% of what they censored was about sandniggers raping/killing kids etc. My guess is that muslims complained to gov that because the kids knew they were predators it was getting too difficult to gang rape and/or kill them, and as fellow pedophiles who hate fair criticism, they happily obliged. More back on point though, that shrinking content range will drive users and advertisers away which will harm creators. More censorship never helps especially in the long term.
