One last chance to save my dying G604 mouse by reducing the polling rate. It's been having more and more issues. If this doesn't fix it I'm probably gonna' be on the hunt for a new one.

I've been using my wired Corsair mouse but I don't like using wired mouses. I can feel the cable rubbing up against stuff and it freaks me out lol.

Wireless mice are gay, especially in the wake of braided cables becoming more normalized. The Glorious Model O and Model D are basically perfect except for the fact they're made by Glorious and are thus either full of holes or way too thin and small because the company wants to save precious grams.

I found the Steelseries Prime last year and it's been perfect. Large, lightweight, with a braided cable that doesn't clutter up anything. It strikes that middle ground between being an extension of my hand but also being made of durable parts.

The only issue is that within the last 3 months I've had problems with the scroll wheel not behaving as it should. I am hoping to God it's just a defect with this particular device because the mouse is a divine gift in every other aspect.

@Hephaestic @dcc braided cable on a mouse would be even worse for me. I'd be able to feel it catching on everything. I'm super autistic about it xD

On top of that I also really would prefer a mouse with a decent amount of side buttons but not too many. That's why I got the g604 in the first place because it only has six unlike a lot of other mouses that have 9-12.

No, braided cables are so light they don't catch on anything. They literally don't move except for the part that's directly attached to the mouse.

@Hephaestic @dcc Hmmm... maybe it would be worth a shot. I'd have to try one IRL first.

I could always buy a wireless mouse that lets you connect it with USB and buy a braided cable for it too. I was hoping to get one that lets me do that anyway just in case it starts having wireless issues again like my current one.

@beardalaxy @dcc
If you've been using a standard rubber cable then trying a braided/cloth one will be life-changing.
