I'm not mad at the tariff shit specifically and I'm more mad that AmiAmi has not set up either UPS or FedEx since April when they got rid of DHL and didn't reinstate it. Them relying only on Japan Post was a ticking bomb; almost all other figure retailers can use FedEx, UPS, or DHL. It's the same shit here only relying on USPS for expensive packages. It's not reliable! This is a massive L.

@veru man, hopefully this doesn't affect my future orders. i've got a bunch of stuff in september and october, and then another in february. hopefully they get another shipping provider. they still have EMS so at least i'll be able to get my stuff but man... definitely going to make it more expensive.
@veru oh shit so you just can't get stuff from amiami if you live in the US? well they better figure it out otherwise that's a pretty massive chunk of their userbase just evaporated.
on the amiami website it says that they'll provide an update soon, so we'll see.

All they did was stop ems/Japan post for the USA but they still do DHL/FedEx/UPS

I have gone back to FJ. This is what I meant that this entire situation was poorly handled by Amiami because even proxy services don't have to stop or cancel shipments to the USA now.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club EMS is down too for AmiAmi, unfortunately. I picked EMS on Friday before I knew about all this shit. It's really confusing but JP Post EMS is only being allowed for paper documents and anything non commercial (gifts) as of this time. I always do DHL or EMS because the Polynian boys are niche and if they get lost, I gotta wait years for a reprint or pay up price anyways. They need to get a new service asap. I hope they will get this figured out in September. I contacted their CS to check if they can hold my order then because the email they sent didn't give me any details on what will happen to my order.
