The fed is no longer printing pennies BTW, haven't seen anyone else mention that

Canada stopped doing that like a decade ago because it cost more than a penny to produce a penny. It didn't make a difference rounding things to the nearest 5 cents.

@Hephaestic yeah apparently it costs like 4c in the US, inflation has finally gotten to Canada levels
