@veru when i was a young child i had this nightmare where a shadow man popped out of the wall and said freaky shit to me and for the next 10+ years i couldn't sleep facing the wall because i thought he'd come back

I know how terrifying that actually is as a kid because I had a nightmare with sleep paralysis when I was 4-5 with a giant, slanky and pitch black demon creature and I'm pretty sure I can draw it 1:1 if I put my mind to it because it did haunt me for ages in my dreams. It's some total bullshit my brain made up because I had never watched any media that could generate that at that young age. Let's hope it was my brain and not an actual demon, too. 
I don't dream about it since I probably reached 15 or so but its appearance is forever imprinted in my head.
@veru yeah man, mine looked kind of like the monopoly man but a shadowy figure. i've actually heard a lot of stories of kids having dreams like this where they see freaky shit, there are some accounts of kids seeing it while they're awake too. it was forever ago so i don't really remember, but i could have sworn i was awake or maybe lucid dreaming or something. the dreams would happen any time i even accidentally fell asleep facing the wall and one time i ran out of my room and the shadow man was coming out of the living room wall too. freaky stuff.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club With kids, the theory is that they are extremely sensitive to paranormal phenomenons just like dogs, in a way. The sane part of me says my head is just scrambled since birth due to these episodes, hallucinations and sleep paralysis starting in early infancy without any actual trauma happening between my ages 0-4 and episodes started around age 4 but the schizo side thinks it's just actual phenomenons manifesting. I have seen it while I was awake too but not as vividly as when I was half asleep and during sleep paralysis.
Yours was probably the evil twin of the Monopoly Man from another dimension!
