@Kyonko802 I like hiragana, for the most part it's basically just an alphabet. Katakana is fine too but idk who decided to make tsu/shi and n/so. They can suck my dick.

@beardalaxy those are a pain in the ass by themselves but when you put them in a word they're better

@Kyonko802 yeah that makes sense, seeing the context the character is in would help a lot

@beardalaxy People also whine about kanji a lot. 2000 actually isn't that much in the grand scheme of things. You have much more information than that floating around your brain on a daily basis.

Also remember that in order to learn Chinese you need to know around 30,000. THOSE people are the real crazy ones.
