They literally cast a conventionally attractive thin blue eyed blond haired white woman who's 5'9 and has abs as Lara Croft and men are atill crying and complaining and calling it woke. Look no offense but a lot of men deserve their loneliness

@mushroom_soup i think part of the problem might be that lara croft is VERY much a woman who was an absolute bombshell for the 90s who isn't all that attractive these days. if they're going for accuracy, she actually does look extremely similar to the 90s render there.
the actual actress i think looks fine but whether it is lara croft herself or just the general casting, this iteration of lara croft isn't really something i find myself being attracted to.
2013 reboot lara (1) is definitely my favorite. her new look (2) is also really pretty, i like it quite a bit but a lot of people don't like either of these. i like her look right before the reboots (3) too, it's just that original 90s render stuff that honestly i don't like at all.
