this is for the upcoming lego batman game lmao wtf are they doing

@beardalaxy What the actual fuck? They don't need more impressive graphics than what they had a decade ago, it's the fucking Lego games.
I played some on my Wii, when I was younger.

@Jens_Rasmussen i bet the lighting engine requires ray tracing or some shit like that, but still that doesn't warrant a 2070 being the MINIMUM that's absolute insanity. if minimum is 1080p 30fps with DLSS i would maybe be able to play it without DLSS on my rig lol.

@beardalaxy >32GB RAM recommend
Is the entire game world loaded all the time?
@Jens_Rasmussen @beardalaxy As far as I can tell, Super Mario on the N64 was quite sloppily programmed and loaded the entire game world into memory and wasted a lot of memory (although enemy and platform movements were only processed at a specific away from the player), but still ran on ~4MB of RAM.

Even with a very extensive and detailed game world, loaded all the time, that would really burn like 1GB of RAM - but of course proprietary software developers always find a way to burn all available system resources.
