Earth gets tidally locked and the moon crashes into the earth before the whole sun expansion thing even happens? Kind of insane.

@beardalaxy apparently the moon going further away is just an ongoing process that will reach equilibrium at one point. A month will be much longer and earths rotation will also be slowed. Then the process reverts until the moon does a Majora's mask to us
