Yeah if anyone attacks me or someone I am responsible for, for any reason, I will use as much force as I am capable of at the time to ensure there is no further harm done. Simple. If it kills them, too bad. Shouldn't have thrown the punch. I'll stab someone with a pencil before I risk my life over some imaginary "honor code" from a dumb ass who can't control their impulses.
