@beardalaxy it’s just a few PC using a bespoke render api which is similar to vulkan in my understanding.
@KaiserKitty sounds about right, so it ends up being a translation layer instead of an actual emulator. still, though. the ps4 only started to have halfway decent "emulation" (also a translation layer) like a year ago.
