@Rwoeidk she's not poor at all, she's got a great life! I still get to see her pretty often. An old roommate of ours was moving somewhere he couldn't have pets so we kept her and then the friend who has her now took her with when he moved out. He hated cats before but the two of them were basically inseparable.
