RPG In A Box has a gofundme going to help with development costs and they've only made just over $1,000. The guy has been working on this engine for over a decade and it has progressed so much and it's such a neat thing with so many features. It's kind of sad to see all of that effort go mostly unnoticed.

@beardalaxy quite interesting. I feel like most people know of a RPG maker game or two before they get into it. So this would really benefit from some hits, I think.

@WandererUber yeah there definitely needs to be some bigger games to come out of it. pretty much everything out so far have been like, game jam games afaik.

@beardalaxy i remember looking at it, nodding, trying out a :blobcatpirate2: version, and it crashed a bit, and i walked away a little nonplussed with godot being used to stand up a proprietary toolkit.

@icedquinn I haven't had any issues with crashing but I've only just recently started using it. There's a demo and even a web app demo now too. I love the voxel editor, the fact that you can build models within the engine itself like that is awesome. It supports steam workshop now too so you can grab models that other people have made. I've uploaded a few! It's just a cool program.
