@ninja8tyu it's like, trivially easy to break into an rpg maker game. it's why i decided to not encrypt mine at all. there's zero point in doing it because people can download a program, chuck the game files in, and boom you get access to all the game files and everything. the bigger issue is certainly the copyright trolls with the weird pedo shit.
honestly at a certain point, as a creator, you kind of have to just expect a lot of this shit will happen and keep making things anyway, and just hope that as much as possible will funnel back to you, because it's impossible to truly stop unfortunately.
though i can't help but feel it's a shame... although i heard about nemlei and her works through the streisand effect and all the drama related to it, perhaps it was too much to happen so quickly...
