@Shadowman311 This is gay faggot mindset, and it triggers my autism.
"That man (Batman) won't quit as long as he can still draw a breath.
None of my teammates will.
Me, I've got a different problem.
I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard, always taking constant care not to break something, to break someone.
Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die.
But you can take it, can't you, big man?
What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerful I really am."
— Superman
Every true hero is an avatar of virtue, embodying the 4 cardinal virtues:
• Prudence - Knowing the right thing to do.
• Justice - The heroic motivation.
• Endurance - To endure the trials of the hero, this is the ability and skill of the hero.
• Temperance - To keep the other virtues from becoming vices, making the difference between justice and vengeance, between a hero and an anti-hero.
Some heroes, especially in stories with more complex themes or a moral behind them, have more of one virtue than another, their primary virtue or virtuous trait.
It's easy to spot what that trait is by considering the opposite.
What would a specific hero NEVER do?
What would break a character if it was written behaving a certain way?
For example: Batman would never panic.
His presence of mind is god-tier, he stays focused even in the face of literal gods.
Batman losing his composure is either a trick, or a sign that something is wrong with him.
A Batman that panics isn't Batman.
Rorschach, being a poor attempt at parodying The Question (which is based on Mr A), will never turn a blind eye to evil.
He does not compromise with the wicked, not even to save his own life (being a zealot, lacking temperance, he's actually an anti-hero).
And Superman?
He lives in a world of cardboard.
Always holding back for the safety of those around him.
Self restraint is his greatest skill and virtue.
That's why both those Superman movies are absolute dog-shit.
Only the Donner Superman movies were actually good.
