@Phil Crazy how they were being fed, in camp made specifically to kill them.
@coded_artist some were being fed and worked but based on my great uncles first hand accounts (he was part of a unit that liberated a camp and just died 2 years ago at 106) they were not being fed well and the few still alive were emaciated, bruised and beaten and riddled with untreated wounds and sickness.

Of course there were shortages of food at the end of the war. But there were no Germans in mass Graves and they were in much better shape then the people in the camps. There are mountains of evidence that mass murder of Jews and other prisoners occurred during WW2. My Uncle's father was a POW in Germany he lost lots of weight at the end, but wasnt in nearly as bad shape as the jews in the camps.
Denying it, especially when guilt from it affected Germany for many years is nuts.

@coded_artist Of course the casualties in war were massive and far more non jews died than jews died. That simple fact, does not undermine or excuse the inhumane treatment of jewish civilians and children by the germans, and ignore hitler's attempt to conquer.
Add to that a larger German population in the 40s, the American/British bombing campaigns and the Red Army rampaging their way across the eastern part of the country and it soars over three million easily, that's low balling it.
If you count the holocaust in that figure, and you probably should given most of them died of starvation and disease that could have been treated were it not for the blockades and the figure goes to three million two hundred thousand. 😏
