Please use the respectful slur, "gook". This is
1. derived from the Korean word for "Korean"
2. is unique to Koreans. Nobody else is a gook, and no other people is evoked by the word.
3. a traditional slur used in battle rather than this flash-in-the-pan slur that you speak of. Koreans died alongside and against men who called Koreans by this word. Honor them instead of forgetting them!

If the disrespect is the goal, it is much more effective to refer to a Korean in this way: "Japanese"
