@hideki The underlying concept makes sense to me because right now, there's simply no overarching structure for handling and exchanging digital possessions. I don't care much for the current jpg NFTs beyond enjoying the spectacle, you can think of them simply as a proof of concept for things to come. As for adoption, it will come down to whether companies see any value in providing their services as NFTs, and that will depend on customer behavior who I believe would gradually gravitate towards services that allow them to monetize their participation along the way, leaving "stingy" businesses behind.
That all said, I don't know if it all has to be blockchain.
