@ademan it was cheesy then, it is cheesy now, but all the memes featured in lucky star are outdated, of course since it references stuff pre-2007, so new weebs will lose the thread quickly.
@ademan On the other side, K-On is still good even by today standards, with still a strong following and it's from around the same time.
KyoAni peaked with Haruhi and they didn't even write the storyline or characters. Everything Lucky Star did YuruYuri did better (still trash though). I never could get into K-On, though I like the racist memes. It sucks that some psycho burned the place down and killed everybody. Fuck that guy. I hope he hangs.
I never watched any slice of life, I watch exclusively shounen trash if/when I weeb out. What’s outdated about lucky star? Or were you cringing because it’s cheesy?
