"stop having fun reee"
@beardalaxy Yeah we all get addicted to something in our lifes, i think it's the way that we (consciously or not) try to fill the void that we all have inside our psique, and sometimes the addiction is constructive and allows people to create benefical stuff, and the other way happens to, you get addicted to an ideology that it's dangerous and devastating.
In the end i think that as long as noone is suffering in the process or ends of any kind of "hobby", addiction or whatever your coping mechanism is, i think you should let people dwell in them as long as they like, providing like you say, they are not doing any harm to themselves or others.
@keisuke people can get addicted to literally anything. porn addiction is only an addiction if it causes disruption in your life. if watching porn every now and then is just something you enjoy doing and you're not like, fucking over your health because you jack off too much or it takes over other things in priority such as going to work or seeing friends/family, then it isn't an addiction. same thing goes for video games, or watching movies, or youtube, or whatever. even WORK can be addictive to the point of harm for people.
as far as if it is ethical or not, that's a weird debate because I'm sure there is a lot of porn that certainly isn't, specifically ones that are made by studios. amateur porn is a lot less likely to be unethical, because it's not like they have producers and directors telling them to do certain things for certain shots and only paying them X amount of money if they'll do X thing, etc. amateurs get to do whatever they want to do on their terms.
but this is why hentai is superior to pornography in every way. there is rarely a question on whether it is ethical or not, and in the case it is unethical, then it probably isn't as bad as a dude like borderline breaking his cock to get the right shot.
