I'm thinking of installing Lubuntu on my mom's laptop. It's a new Celeron with 4GB of RAM and 32GB SSD and it isn't even capable of browsing the web smoothly and it's all she does.
It's fucking absurd how websites are bloated.
@matrix My mom has a laptop with a dual-core Celeron clocked at like 1.3ghz, 2gb of RAM, and a 32gb SSD.
Almost the entire drive is taken up by Win10, and it runs like absolute shit with just a web browser open.
