why not just make a bunch of "safety" modules that sysadmins / users can easily enable

eg (imagine checkboxes here)
- loli block
- racism block
- sex/nsfw block
- homophobia block
- self harm block

they wouldn't be perfect but i can empathize with people who wanna use Fediverse at work or on the bus, also can understand why someone would want to filter loli in someplace where it's considered child porn

we all joke about blocklists but man I would way rather have opt-in blocklists than just hard boiling censorship utilities into the client itself
