PERSONAL CHOICE: Blocking a Domain
Individual users can block whole domains/instances. Let's say you encounter a federated post so out-of-bounds you're ready to just be done with the whole instance.
1. Tap the author of the post to load their profile
2. Select the "three dots" (ellipsis) menu
3. Select "Hide Everything From [the instance you want to block]
That's all there is to it. You will see nothing further from anyone on that whole instance.

Users can manage their personal list of blocked domains by first visiting their own profile, selecting the same "three dots" (ellipsis) menu, and selecting Hidden Domains.

@robcolbert Does gab globally block, silence or defederate from users or servers? If so is the list of who made public?

I don't know if they block domains, but they do block users.
