@matrix @RehnSturm256 But from what I've seen, blacks remain more criminal even when you control for the relevant variables (poverty, unemployment single parent households etc), so the surface level interpretation is correct in that case.
Meanwhile, the surface level interpretation (explicitly advanced by feminists) that women are paid 23% less than men for equal work, of equal quality, is not only completely false based on the statistics, but doesn't even make sense when viewed in complete isolation - if employers could seriously get away with paying equally valuable women workers 23% less than men, then hiring practices would look very different from what they do today.
