Without kids, there would barely be "housewive" shit to do. And even then, why can't I take care of em? I know how my mom spent her time when I grew up and it wasn't worth half of my dad's salary I tell you that. She simply didn't want to work, and was pretty clear about that

@igeljaeger @matrix @orekix what's your point here? I'm not arguing for only having one partner working, but that is a realistic arrangement, and in that case, you shouldn't have one partner giving the other partner money, you should have both partners sharing funds.
Usually, a case like that would have one partner raising children, with the other partner doing less of the parenting and more money making, in which case, responsibilities are divided more fairly.
