I've been playing Borderlands 3 and I've been enjoying it. The gameplay is fun and the editions are quite enjoyable too and the graphics are great.
What's annoying is the writing. It's really fucking cringe, even more cringe than the Borderlands 2 which I think had the right amount of cringe where it was enjoyable.
Borderlands 2 DLCs had too much of it too. It's the type cringe that SJWs find funny. Like Hammerlock says: "Hey ho." and then a paragraph about respecting sex workers. I also don't remember Ellie in Borderlands 2 being so hyper sexual and saying that everyone is checking her out. It feels like she was written by some insecure fat chick.
Also don't forget they changed "midget" to "tink" because it's AbLeIsT.

I'm a retard. I wrote editions instead of additions.

@matrix I can’t get into borderlands. Everything just looks dirty and hideous. I get that’s what they’re going for but it doesn’t change the fact that it looks like someone took a wet shit on Halo: CE.

@matrix
I expected the gameplay to still be fun, (although it doesn't seem like there's anything really new about the character's abilities. Even the siren seems to be a partial rehash of what previous sirens could do), but from what I've heard of the story, it's basically bad and uninspired. Also, it seems like they kinda ignored a setup put in place in The Pre-Sequel. Basically some big war was supposed to follow the events of Borderlands 2, and this game doesn't look like it.

@alyx
They are heavily relying on Tales From Borderlands for the story. Which uses The Pre-sequel a bit but not to any meaningful degree. That's true, the story so far is pretty basic and boring and I'm already at level 24.
