There isn't a lot of Minecraft modders remaining who don't have me blocked on Twitter

@matrix I don't use mods. They're all cool until Mojang updates the game and they no longer work because the mod's creators are a bunch of lazy Niggers.

That being said, is the mod any good?
@matrix What would be the top 3 things you like about it?

Also, how much of a hassle it is to install? I haven't installed one since 1.14 and it took some program that I only found on Windows and... Anyway.

@rasterman
I like how it makes caves look more lively by improving their generation.
It's simple, just install Forge and drop the mod into the mods folder

@matrix @rasterman do you mean "vegetation"? Generation makes no sense here, czech boi
@rasterman @matrix

would be nice if mojang included a modding api like how minetest has.
minetest is great and all but its still lacking somewhat.

like for instance . how do i swap the mouse buttons XD
@loganer @matrix I tried Minetest once on my Intel HD Graphics GPU-having laptop. Didn't run so well.

Now I have an RTX2070S on my desktop, so I can probably give it a go. How does it compare to MC feature-wise at the moment?
@rasterman @matrix

well minetest is more like , just the engine kind of.

you'll have to install an actual game onto it.

the engine comes with a default game though.

in 5.** they added a content system so this is a lot easier then it use to be
@rasterman @matrix

you'll probably want to grab the mineclone game from the content menu .
that the closes to 'minecraft' that i could see.
its still rough around the edges (at least from what i've last seen)
@loganer @matrix I must've played what came with the game 'cause I don't remember working to get any additional content. What's the best to try?
@rasterman @matrix

ya you probably was using the default .
its technically just a demo.

its a menu in the launcher itself .
i can't remember exactly where it is right now.
