Why is Misskey so retarded that it stores files without their file extensions?

It doesn't. It compresses the images and converts those without alpha to jpeg, but doesn't yeet the file extension.
@matrix its serves the image with out the extension often, or firefox is doing weird shit just to bug me

Huh. Might be Firefox. When I right click on an image and copy its link it ends with an file extension.
