I'm having trouble uploading gameliberty.club media to Minio because Nginx is running out of available inodes

Follow

What am I supposed to do? Upload a part and wait until Nginx cleans it's cache? Buy another block storage and point Nginx cache to that?

It wasn't Nginx, it was Minio.
@sjw@neckbeard.xyz have you ever had issues with Minio cache using up all the inodes?

@igel Only by moving it to a bigger but slower drive. The main drive itself is running out of inodes.

@matrix delet instance and start over. It solves everything!

@matrix hurr durr u have to care about freeloaders, hurr durr

@igel Setting client_body_buffer_size to like 100m might help

@matrix @igel what filesystem? should be possible to reformat and specify arbitrary number of inodes
@matrix @igel should be possible at least with ext4* i meant to say. pressed send without finishing my thought

@wowaname
Ext4. I don't want to reformat, but I could possibly shrink the main partition and make a second one.
@igel

@matrix @sjw not sjw but also use Minio for Mastodon, Pleroma, etc, and no

@mewmew @sjw@neckbeard.xyz Do you cache files after 1 access?

@matrix @sjw what do you mean by cache in this context?
@matrix @sjw I don't use nginx to do any caching, I use a CDN

@mewmew
Minio itself can cache files for faster access in a different location, for example NVME drive.
