I don't agree tbh, plenty of modern representative democracies started out with requirements to grant the vote like basic literacy, others had requirements on wealth and property, the feebleminded were not permitted to participate either, the more you removed these restrictions the more you degenerated imo

@matrix In my country, everyone eligible to vote *must* vote by law or get fined. It's not better. In fact, we could do with less people voting. Turns out there are more parasites than working people, and politicians pander to them at the expense of the people who make a country possible.
