Democracy is supposed to be rule of the majority but it ends up still being rule of the minority because nobody fucking votes

I don't agree tbh, plenty of modern representative democracies started out with requirements to grant the vote like basic literacy, others had requirements on wealth and property, the feebleminded were not permitted to participate either, the more you removed these restrictions the more you degenerated imo
