@r000t @matrixIt might amount to ~300k in 12 months with a higher death count than flu, but I'd say if those are the only two parameters you're looking at it doesn't actually look that scary.
"2, 3, 4 times deadlier than the flu" doesn't sound too bad to me. The problem is people haven't informed me well enough about how is it looking like for the people who survived. Are nearly all of them 100% recovered or is a large part of them fucked for a long time / permanently?
@matrix 100k per year (12 months) is also a lot less than 210k in 9 months. Not only is it half the deaths to begin with, but it's over a larger timeframe.
