@echo @matrix I mean the propaganda machine was a given. The fact that it's not working and they had to go to plan B shows underlying weakness. They're going to keep doubling down until the glorious day when they're finally broken for want of bending.

The downside of this is that instead of a holy reckoning, most of them are just going to die easily avoided accidental deaths. There are just limits to how delusional you can be and still make it through a day.
