I remember first coming across this phenomenon when Totalbiscuit was making a big deal out of virtue signalling about how he was "Genna Bain's husband" - before later on sperging out at her because she supposedly had supported Trump (which I don't even think she did).

Anyway, the whole thing is so retarded - obviously the less famous/notable spouse is going to be referred to by his or her marriage to the more famous spouse. This isn't even sexist - I don't ever remember anyone referring to Margaret Thatcher as "Denis Thatcher's wife", nor do I see Queen Elizabeth be referred to as "Prince Philip's wife". But I guess the idea that women might ever be perceived as not being more important than men is so intolerable to these SJW retards that they'll make a point of referring to every worthless thot and gold digger as if she's more important than her much more famous husband.
