Propaganda, pure propaganda

The bathroom debate is absolutely fucking retarded. If I want to rape, I'm raping regardless of what the sign on the door says.

@matrix Their logic is (usually) that it's essentially a legal defense for sexual harassment, not something that enables actual rape. What they usually claim is that it enables predators to harass and objectify women, by making it legal for them to do so.
@matrix Not saying I agree with their claims btw, I'm just saying that most of them don't claim it's an excuse for actual rape

@galena
I guess you could potentially have a guy that uses that excuse to snap pictures, but that still seems like a huge edge case.
In the legal domain it's still kinda stupid though. If you publicly say you are trans, you've mostlikely already went to a doctor about it so it's wouldn't be hard to prove that a creep is just making excuses.

@matrix It's a bit complicated, imo, there are always going to be some cis people who try to abuse regulations that support trans people for their own benefit, and on top of that, there are some actual trans people who are predators too. Like, just because someone is trans, doesn't mean they can't be a predator or an abusive asshole. But then again, cis women can be abusive or predators too. Where exactly do you draw that line? Like ideally, to minimize any potential abuse, you'd exclusively have gender neutral washrooms with a maximum occupancy of 1 person at a time. Can't have any creepshots then. Personally I think that's the best choice. I hate having anyone else around me when I'm pissing, regardless of what they've got in their pants, or how they identify.
