Whatever their many crippling faults, the worst my mother ever did was vote for fellow Catholic JFK in 1960, in an election that thanks to the MSM appeared to be a toss up on which was truly better (and JFK was very anti-Communist etc., just bad at many other things). She learned her lesson….
