@matrix i guess if you are paying full price for books that could be onerous. technical books are like 50$ so yeah depending on how poor you are that could be a lot. i've read of some people who's entire entertainment budget is a 10$/mo subscription to some streaming service.

Ok, sorry, there is some context. It's 5 books because they signed up to the store's membership program to get a discount on one book to read on vacation, but later realized you need to buy at least 5 year. They bought just regular novels.
