@p @sjw hopefully this isn’t too annoying, I’m only asking you because I think you’re probably the smartest person on fedi, but basically there was a thread recently where we found out that it’s not possible to emoji react Latin crosses and jewish stars to people ( ✝ and ✡️). It seems to work, but they actually don’t stick if you refresh the page. I think other people sort of figured it out in that thread, but I don’t know how to explain it so I’ll just link it:

So then I tried to go on libera chat and talk to the pleroma people about it but it was totally dead and nobody responded to me. I’m just wondering if you know how to fix it or who I can talk to about it. I don’t want to live in a world where I can’t ✡️ react to grafs posts. 😔

I was gonna cry because the "fix all the objects" thing died right when I went to the bathroom. It's a single transaction, it un-did all the changes.

I'm gonna just do it as a separate write proc, let that run while I write the thing that removes followers from local users *unless* that person refollowed today, which probably runs much more quickly.

@p @lanodan I think I might know what's causing the breaker to flip. When all the cores go from power saving to under load instantly it might look like a fault with such a massive load from nothing. If it happens again I'm gonna try disabling some of the power saving settings in the bios
