I'm looking for an ereader. I want expandable storage, as much as possible, and the ability to easily import my library of pirated ebooks. Some of the newer ones have the ability to highlight text and write notes with a stylus which seems quite useful but I'm not sure if I'd have to convert my entire library to .pdf or something. Any recommendations?

Btw PDFs are really bad on ereaders because they don't scale.
@matrix @SADIDAS Double recommend the Kobo, I know my Aura has a microSD card slot but it's only SDHC so can take up to 32GB cards. It's been working really well for me since 2014 and still going strong, tons of support for lots of formats including cbr/cbz so I can read manga too. Even with the backlight on and reading 2 hours a day I only need to recharge it once a month.
@matrix This is a useful piece of information, thanks. I was concerned I would have to do something annoying like convert all of my books to pdf, but if doing so is going to make everything worse I now know to avoid that.
@SADIDAS I would recommend the Kobo since just an ereader and thus distraction free and you literally just plug it in like a flash drive and copy your books to it. No expandable storage though.
