@matrix being anti abortion isnt really libertarian lol but sure
@matrix it's full of people who oppose authority. Left or right doesnt really matter here in my opinion. Esp for a european to be what americans understand under "libertarian". German gov is tied to the church. I you dont like church tax you have to leave it officially. All believers are taxed or thrown out.

@igelsQTs
Not necessarily. Atheism is just the lack of belief in the supernatural. The opposition to authority part is there because in most places throughout history it was the church imposing itself. That's why a lot of atheists are communists especially in the US, in Europe it's much less. Because the right wing government and population they hate is mostly Christian.
Libertarians don't oppose authority itself, they oppose authority imposed by someone else, but don't have issue with willingly submitting yourself. Religion and libertarianism don't inherently contradict.
Roe V Wade cancelation is a win for libertarians because it was mandate from the outside imposed onto the states.

@matrix im honestly lost. I will stop thinking about american things now
@matrix I was thrown out of the catholic church because I didnt pay church taxes. Thats all i can say.
