the new 4TB SSD drives have been installed to poast tv. i will begin migrating data to them and hope to have them in production by the time rand goes live tonight. thank you friend

@graf You need SSDs to serve the videos or are you using them because you don't have 3.5 bays?

@matrix the latter, there’s only 2.5 bays in this chassis this isnt for video, they are hosted in a CIFS storage server peertube keeps chunks, playlists and whole video in a folder called streaming-playlists that at time of writing is almost 2TB

I don't get it. The video files, playlists etc get all stored in the same subfolder with the id of the video and I'm not aware of any way how to store video files and the rest separately.
The videos folder is a legacy folder for old non-hls videos.

@matrix @graf you could mount an external disk to that folder easily with fstab
