@mangeurdenuage @10grans I don't understand why are you bothering with AV1 with a FX CPU, it's a hog even for modern CPUs
@mangeurdenuage @10grans I'm dumb and I didn't . I saw 95xx and my automatically jumped to FX.
What GPU do you have? If it has HEVC encoder it might be better to go with HEVC. Tbh I don't see the improvement with a AV1 worth it without a HW en/decoder.
It's nice to hear that dav1d is running well though.

I don't have money to invest in more recent/backdoored hardware.
And less space storage for animu in bd-r is good/cost less.
Overall it's great that dav1d is running av1 decoding with fhd vids like a 🍑 on old hardware.
