@jeffcliff This is caused by reblogs, which is odd because other instances haven't had this issue. Maybe it's something to do with quote boosts?
@matrix have you modified mastodon't in any meaningful way?
@r000t @jeffcliff Oh yeah, I remember now, I thought that feature got removed by the og maintainer as the reblogs stopped showing up, but I guess it just broke.
@matrix @jeffcliff So whatever's ingesting them, you know, normally, is probably hitting the same bug I just did.
@matrix @jeffcliff Oof, it's also sending not-public statuses to the public timeline.
That bug kept me from breaking a promise.

@matrix @jeffcliff It seems to be sending reblogs to the public stream, which (just the one I tried) mastodon.social does not.
So we'll just detect that and import the boosted status I guess.
