There's a few I like, I think with some exceptions Black Lagoon has a good one, it's just that the Japan arc doesn't make any sense when it's animated. It also doesn't make sense when it's the original language track because why bring a translator to your Japan crime deal if everyone in roanapur speaks Japanese already

@Ottovonshitpost @matrix I don't mind magical observer translation, as long as it doesn't cause ambiguity with the languages actually being spoken. They *could* have just shuffled the languages around a bit, but if the Japan arc is unmistakeably Japan then it's fine as it is.
Relevant: Gate JSDF, which as far as I can tell plays with alternate pronunciations of kanji for isekailang. Tokyo Mew Mew which actually just has some characters speak English in the original. The dub of it is actually also relevant because of that, they just made those characters speak uhhh, French I think it was. The dub still sucked ass, that was just a neat bit. (And AFAIK it's entirely inconsequential.)
US VAs still manage to fuck everything up.
Also pet hate for isekais that give MC automagical translation and then have honoriffic shenanigans.

I just think they could have used bits from the Japanese language track to make the Japanese people speak Japanese in the English dub, that would have been cool. There's a good German dub too, they could use that for the U-boat arc. Probably some licensing issues, but my autism tickles me when I rewatch it
